I started making cards when I was in my last years of Secondary school and really enjoyed myself, which was back in 2006/2007. It may have not been much but it was a start. Even if it was just folding a card in half and adhering stickers or cut bits of card up to create a collage.
I came across Stampin' Up! when I went to a summer fayre and decided to hold a party, I enjoyed the concept of two step stampin' but that was it. I got into scrapbooking and hold regular workshop and was a consultant for another company. I then went to a friend's party and then got interested in going to classes that were being held at the demonstrator's house. It was great to obtain such quality stamps and great colours and paper packs. Then a comment was made when at a party 'I have been thinking about asking you to join my team.' I then thought about it and it was niggling me so I got in touch, went to the demos house and joined up there and then during Sale-a-bration in 2013.
I have seen over the time I've been with Stampin' Up! How much my cards have developed with layers & all the co-ordination Stampin' Up! has available. Recently with the Stampin' Up! Simple message of simple stamping I have also gone back to basics, to still obtain that wow factor. I have a small team who thrive with in person events and currently looking at other ways to craft during the Covid-19 pandemic.
I work part time but enjoy being creative in my spare time and getting inspired by so many people. It is a great way to meet new people and inspire others to be creative. If you would like to know more then do contact me. In 2019 I got married to my partner in crime! We love to go on long walks, spend time with friends, playing board games with or without friends, baking, cooking and making puzzles in our spare time.
